Barrett Brown Arrested While on TinyChat

On Wednesday night, my colleague Barrett Brown was arrested on charges of Threatening a Federal Agent while streaming on TinyChat. The charge came after he posted a video on YouTube asking for information on an FBI agent, with the goal to “ruin his life”. He was moved to a Dallas jail, where he was then transfered to an overflow facility. Currently, supporters and activists are looking for local council for his defense. A website has been set up for his defense, and people are being asked to donate using Bitcoin.
